Berseria has a good story, but is otherwise overrated crap. Vesperia definitive is a bloated filler version of the superior original Vesperia. So play Symphonia. So starting with any other Tales games will be good. Berseria's combat is simplified version of Zestiria, so it is easy to learn, but hard to master.
