WebI loved A Wizard of Earthsea! There is a very powerful scene involving a dragon - it was brilliantly done. There is a great moral message to take out of the book about facing your fears. It really is a classic. Tehanu is great. And when you have read them all Patricia McKillip's Riddlemaster trilogy would be another series I recommend. WebA Wizard of Earthsea is about a young man's coming of age, in which he attends an all-male school for wizards, and much of it is set at sea; The Tombs of Atuan is a young woman's coming of age in an all-female temple complex, and much of it happens underground.
